Welcome to L&R Manufacturing, LLC
In 1981, Darel, along with his father Leo, started L & R Manufacturing out of a machine shed on their family farm. Together, they manufactured custom parts for local farmers ranging from grain bin equipment to hog equipment and more. Three years later, Darel bought the business from his father and he continued to grow its operations.
In 1988, Darel decided it was time to move the operations off the farm and built a new building in Lawler, Iowa. After two expansions were built at the Lawler location, Darel decided it was time for a bigger space yet again. In 2002, they built a new building outside of New Hampton, Iowa that allowed for them to double the office and production space totaling over 20,000 square feet. 11 years later, in 2013, an addition was built to increase the production space to 36,000 square feet.
Over the years, L & R Manufacturing has gained a reputation for quality custom metal fabrication for agricultural and commercial use.
